We’re part of the Conscious and Fair Fashion Movement. We upcycle vintage textiles to create our pieces; using what is already available and adding history and individuality to every wristlet and clutch (besides, we love the thrill of the hunt) - it’s win-win! All of our pieces are handmade by talented individuals who work independently or for small organizations that offer fair work environments.
We're are incredibly proud to work with Stitch by Stitch, a small social enterprise in Frankfurt that employs refugees. These professionals bring incredible sewing talents from their homelands, as well as the tenacity and resiliency needed to start a life in a new place. Stitch by Stitch provides the apprenticeships and certifications necessary for their tailoresses to further leverage their skills and ensure their talents are recognised in their new country. In addition, they support their employees in their journey to settle in a new home by assisting them with German language learning and other helpful skill development. Upon visiting their workshop, we were most struck by the camaraderie between the women; the community that exists within this organization warms the heart and shines a light on the empowerment that can take hold in a positive, supportive, and productive environment.

Sabine and Nadine believe that by using vintage textiles, the clutches that they produce will also win the hearts of any sustainable shopper. By not giving into the ever-changing trends and resorting to fabrics and patterns that have been used and loved for centuries, their bags will not only be good to look at but also adaptable and timeless.
